Location. Location. Location

Located in beautiful Upstate New York

This exceptional day camp, rich with traditions, is located in Monroe, NY, right in the heart of Southern Orange County. Your child’s summer fun is a hop, skip, and a jump away. It is a breeze to join us for camp shows or to pick up your camper after an evening of roasting marshmallows, singing, telling stories by a campfire. While called a “sleepover,” there isn’t always very much sleeping.

Easily pick up a child who isn’t feeling well, and, Monroe is close enough to decide, on a whim, to pick up your camper at the end of a camp day, or to stop by and say hello, just because.

Equally exciting about our location, is that our magnificent 60-acre campus is right on 150-acre Walton Lake, where campers boat and fish in crystal clear waters. Big summer fun ahead!

“Rosmarins Day Camp is a wonderful place for children to be free-spirited and have fun…to make lifelong friends and to learn about themselves.”

Says Roseann Rosenfeld, Camper Grandma

Programs Rooted in Traditions and Nostalgia

Thanks to carefully planned programming, the camp grounds are filled with playing, laughter and learning.

Rosmarins offers campers an exciting and enriching program deeply rooted in traditions dating back to the summer of  1949.

All of our programs and activities are specially designed to appeal to the interests and abilities of a wide range of campers ages 3-15. Campers enjoy superior athletics and aquatics: boating, kayaking, and fishing on a 150-acre lake on the property and participating in daily swim lessons led by Red Cross-certified swim instructors in our four inground heated pools. There are extensive music, dance, and arts & crafts programs, thrilling adventure activities, and nature study including caring for an edible food garden.

And there is so much more, all in a non-competitive environment! Each year we add even more activities to our already outstanding curriculum!
