Welcome to Rosmarins Day Camp
At Rosmarins, your child will have fantastic summer memories to last a lifetime. Located on sixty park-like acres in Monroe, New York, our professionally-supervised, age-appropriate programs for children ages 3-15 are diverse to meet the varied interests of today's campers. The success, popularity and expansion of our programs are a direct result of our hands-on commitment and full-time involvement. Our personal care and attention to each camper guarantees a great summer of friendship and fun!

For over half a century, thousands of campers have spent summers at Rosmarins making new friends and learing new skills. Our best credentials are the high praise and the enthusiatic recommendations we receive from our past campers and their parents. Many campers are the children and grandchildren of Rosmarins alumni.

Since 1949, when the Rosmarin Family opened their day camp, they have applied the experience gained each year to improve the camp's programs and facilities. The Rosmarins experience has been synonymous with summers of fun, friendship and fond memories.

Our Staff
Working together with our director is our dedicated, responsible and skillful staff. Composed primarily of adults, from college-age and up, our staff features numerous school teachers, educators and professionals in their field.

This summer, we are proud to feature international staff members as well, through Camp America. Our European counselors will bring a wealth of cultural diversity to the Rosmarin's experience this summer.

Each of our staff members attend a mandatory training orientation prior to camp where they are instructed in all aspects of positive, safe, fun and healthy camping.
Their training includes:
o First Aid/ CPR - care and prevention
o Teaching children a variety of sports & activities
o Preparing children for lifelong learning experiences
o Field sports
o Overnight Camping
o Water Sports
o Dramatics
o Gardening
o Handling disciplinary matters safely
