We are very proud of our highly regarded Aquatics Program. Our comprehensive approach attracts some of the most talented aquatic professionals in the area. Campers become more  confident in and around the water, and learn lifelong aquatics skills.

Swimming Program

Our 4 heated pools differ in size and depth to accommodate the various age and skill levels of our campers. Instruction is provided by our exceptional staff of swim instructors, under the supervision of American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors. Many staff members come to us with a background in competitive swimming and aquatic education from a variety of well-recognized programs.

We are serious about providing a safe aquatic experience that is tailored to each individual child’s needs. We are an authorized provider for the American Red Cross, utilizing the Red Cross curriculum and standards within our program. Campers are grouped according to age and ability through a comprehensive swim assessment.

An instructor is assigned to each group for the duration of the summer to provide continuity. As a result, year after year, parents are blown away by their child’s improvement.

“Thanks for teaching both of my boys to swim.”

Campers age 8 and older, who demonstrate Red Cross Level 3 aquatic skills or higher (including passing the deep water test), are eligible to join the Rosmarins Sharks, our camp swim team.  Participants expand their aquatics skills and learn the basics of competitive swimming in a supportive, team-centered environment by coaches specially trained to teach competitive skills. All team members have the option of traveling to area camps to show their stuff! The swim team selected the shark to be their mascot.
