Junior Camp Ages 5-8

DEVELOPING ATHLETIC AND CREATIVE SKILLS, BUILDING CONFIDENCE AND SELF ESTEEM

The Junior Camp Program has campers participating in a structured well-rounded camp program, enjoying a broad range of activities that teach basic skills that focus on personal development, confidence building, and growth. Days are rich with traditions, nostalgia, and jam packed with fun.

Campers are grouped by age and gender into small teams with their own Junior Counselors and CITs.  These teams move from activity to activity with the other teams in their age group. Each age group has Group Leader, who supervises the Junior Counselors, and CITs.  Together the CITs, Jr. Counselors, and Group Leader, provide your child with a supportive environment throughout the camp day.

The day is divided into activity periods, plus lunch.  Each activity period is led by a Specialist who creates a structured environment in which campers have an opportunity for exploration, creativity, and to test out new skills!

Senior Camp Ages 9-13

BUILDING ON ATHLETIC AND CREATIVE FOUNDATION, EXPLORING PERSONAL INTERESTS, DEVELOPING LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Our Senior Division groups campers by age and gender following a structured schedule with an emphasis on leadership development.

An electives program gives campers the opportunity to choose their own specialized activities to pursue interests that fall outside of their groups’ regular schedule, or to get more time to focus on their favorite camp activities. Campers not only get to spend extra time doing something they love, they also get to build relationships with peers who have common interests.

Electives are diverse, robust, and constantly evolving based on campers’ interests. In the past, some elective activities have included:

  • Ceramics Intensives
  • Advanced activities at our challenge course
  • Fishing
  • American Red Cross Guard Start Junior Lifeguarding
  • Capture-the-flag tournaments
  • Jewelry making
  • Orienteering
  • Gardening
  • Lacrosse
  • Flag Football
  • Theater Exercises
  • Beach Volleyball, and more!
