Set on 60 lush acres, our outdoor education program is a natural component of the Rosmarins camping experience.

Edible Food Garden

Children have the opportunity to see where their food comes, and what goes in to getting it from a small plant, and sometimes seed, to what sits on the dinner plate. It doesn’t get more farm-to-table than this.

Animal Farm

Children visit with and look after Penelope our gigantic, dirty, darling pig.

An absolute favorite, taking advantage of the proximity to the Appalachian Trail, campers go on fabulous guided hikes.  Survival skills are a must for any “Wilderness Warrior.” Discover which berries and weeds are safe to eat (Lemon Hearts anyone?) and which ones are not.  Campers learn how to start camp fires without matches, even in the rain.
