SENIOR DIVISION (AGES 9-13)

Our senior division builds on skills campers already have and allows campers to pursue their interests with greater focus. Campers in this division are again grouped by age and gender.

With an emphasis on leadership development, campers are given more opportunities to actively contribute to the shaping of their camp day and planning of camp special events. While the senior division maintains a structured schedule and broad program offerings, campers in this division also participate in our camp electives program. Electives allow campers to choose their own activities based on their interests, to pursue specialized activities that may fall outside of their groups’ regular schedule, or get more time to focus on their favorite activities in camp.

The program allows campers to interact with one another outside of their regular group setting and make new friendships based on common interests. Elective program offerings are diverse, robust, and constantly evolving based on camper interest. In the past, some elective activities have included: ceramics intensives, advanced activities at our challenge course, fishing, American Red Cross Guard Start Junior Lifeguarding, capture-the-flag tournaments, jewelry making, orienteering, gardening, lacrosse, flag football, theater exercises, beach volleyball, and more!
