Soup to nuts!

All of our staff, regardless of prior experience, goes through an intensive annual staff training program. The program is designed to anticipate campers’ needs and interests, and safety is stressed as our camp’s primary concern.

Our camp training program far exceeds industry standards and regulations, and includes topics such as: safety, risk management, camp procedures, camper needs, health concerns, innovations in the industry, positive behavioral management techniques and guidelines, teamwork, leadership skills, and more. The training program is specially tailored so that staff members receive training specific to their respective roles at camp. The training program doesn’t end after orientation, but rather is continued through a series of in-service training sessions and a variety of weekly staff meetings throughout the summer. All staff training exercises are mandatory.

In addition, our staffing far exceeds industry standards and regulations for staff certified in CPR, First Aid, AED, and Lifeguard Training. We take our training and staff development very seriously, and look for perspective staff members who would best embody that spirit of professionalism
